I met this boy

I am working for an independent label site now. Sometimes I have to meet musicians
and up and coming musicians. Look at this site CM. Here you see a young guy at the moment, (not Misaki Itoh) which I met last week. He is taking vocal lessons for his band debut, maybe next year. He is very cute and so pretty like a doll. Always looking at something beautiful is really nice. Well, any ways we have a proverb, "you will be bored with beauty in three days and you would get used to non beauty in three days".. Actually, looks has no priorty, that is true.

A Healing Mix Ballpoint pen

A Healing Mix Ballpoint pen is a writing utensil manufactured by Pentel, famous for stationary in Japan. Somehow I cannot take this serious, but I do thank Pentel for giving me a laugh, however, Pentel seems to be really serious about their product.

T-shirt season has arrived.

T-shirt season has arrived. What is BEAMS? a brand for young. Check out their cool site and their line of T-shirts for this season. I have found they have some Japanese T-shirts style, and, yes, recently Japanese style is popular. Not only cool looking, but there are funny Japanese styles too: this one Target has T2-Ninjya T!, and this Coshell has nostalgic type, weird cartoon.

Any ways, yesterday I wore a Nike T-shirt that was a bit too small for me. I bought it because I fell in love with it and the shirtr was an exercise shirt, plus being too tight and one size smaller. I felt kind of dizzy while I was wearing it all day. I heard of a girl in the U.S. she died from constriction of the blood flow by wearing very tight jeans...Wow! I was almost the first woman to die by vanity in Japan...! I wish my mother would wear this T-shirt for 5 minutes and stretch it out.

Bad guy checker

Here is worthless guy and a worthless woman checker!
This comes from a column in a magazine called "Damen's walker" by Mayumi Kurata. What can I say...
She confesses to introduce women's stories and experiences with stupid guys. Funny, and the sad part is sometimes women tend to choose stupid guys ALWAYS, as if they have a keen nose for ダメ男!(NG guy). Yes there are two types of women: one who always trap good guys and two, one who always traps bad guys.

Because she calls them Walker, we have to laugh and sympathise with other's masochistical tendencies.
Copy is "inexhaustible damn guy spring". ha ha Here is Mayumi Kurata's official site. I should get one....yes I am serious.

Blog pet cousagi

I have a new blog pet as of today. Look at the side bar! He is a small rabbit (Cousagi in Japanese), named tokio kun

I found this service yesterday and it is very interesting.
What is a Blog Pet Cousagi?
- the rabbit will read your blog and learn something; Click on the rabbit.
- the rabbit will add an entry to your blog.
- the rabbit will show you other blogs which are similiar to your blog. Click on the rabbit.
- you may check access log on control panel.
- the rabbit will make comments to your entry ( not yet, future features)

Already my rabbit has learned the word Blood from my Diary and other words include is and gradation.

Please click on him. He will talk to you. I don't know why he choose the word Blood first. Hmm Have I turned him into a Sweet devil? Any ways, I have checked some other sites, every rabbit talks and tells me some links and some words on their blogs. So pretty!!

But, unfortunately they have only a Japanese version. This means my rabbit will use English words in Japanese Grammer (I suppose). I don't want to have crazy (especially bloody ) talk on my Diary. So I did not set his entry. At lease I know I have a pet in my site.

I have learned how to set blog pet here, if you have some interesting ideas, go ahead and try them!

Kitter Guy

kitterHere is a 42 years old, single, co-worker guy called Kitter! (Japanese English, a sort of a word game, we use "er" for people who like it so much. So he loves Hello Kitty. A big country president likes meat. He says he is a "beefeater" by himself. right? I will call him "Niku-er" in Japanese ),

I checked his desk at work and I found 13 Hello Kitty items: a tea cup, some pens, a stapler, tapes, etc. I suppose he wears Hello Kitty pyjama's at home. :-S

Someone told him before "you are like kitty!"and he replied "well, this gives me a good chance to talk to the ladies". However, when I stated "Would you work on the Sanrio site instead of me?" ( I mean the mobile internet site, we create). He then looked very serious and then very happy. Oh! oh! nobody can hide true love. If the boss says "OK", I will change it anytime. I don't have to have a piece of love for kitty. Lucky me.

What a day, I had today!

warabimochiToday is a hot day in Tokyo! I am chotto sleepy because I woke up at 4 am this morning. Why?! I watched the Euro 2004 England vs. France match, of course!. What a game it was!! But, I was so upset. Any ways, we call Zidane's hair style as "Xaviers HAGE(bald)" :-p ( all Japanese learn about St. Fransis Xavier at elementary school.)
Due to some reason, I don't need to eat much today. So I am eating Warabimochi for my lunch now. This is 150 Yen. I love these natural sweets. I wrote about warabimochi here. yummy.

Blood Type A kind of person

Finally June, 12th has arrived and I have to admit I could not complete this site on time. I really hate this.

Yes I am a typical Blood Type A person. Japanese people may ask your blood type, because we like the topic. Why? Many Japanese think a blood type can reveal your personality and make up. Here is a site called ABO World. This what they say about Blood Type A: "Type A people have a desire for things to be methodical and organized." Hmm That's me.

I have heard about 40% of the Japanese people have Blood Type A, 30% is O, 20% is B and the the rest have AB. I have also heard that in the US over 40% are O. In China Type B is the majority. hmm I sense Japan's Blood Type is A. This country has the character of "a desire for things to be methodical and organized."!!??

This is funny. desho?

Ghost in the Shell - the DVD

Finally, I could see the DVD Ghost in the Shell(Kokaku kidotai)!! Yes, finally. This is a cult cyberpunk anime and has proved to be such a key influence on the film, Matrix. In the US, this was the No. 1 DVD rental. So, you knew this already? I am not sure the image or impression of this kind of animation has in foreign countries. In Japan, when we talk about Kokaku, which is a kind of Otaku kei(Otaku trend) and Akiba kei(Akihabara trend). I have to say, our image, especially woman's image is not so good, abroad Actually, I thought Kokau would be a sort of Oppai anime(Big breasted girls kind of anime), Otaku anime fans never miss them.

However I must tell you this, the DVD was great. The story is not so simple, complicated but there is NO "what is love?", "I love you", "Save the earth" etc. The questions being asked in the film are "how can I know who I am".

Any ways, it was a Saturday night and I was enjoyting the cyber Otaku anime with a glass of whiskey. No guy. No dating. Is this good? ha ha ha yes and no.

P.S. if you plan to see the Director's new movie "Innocence", I recommend to you to see Ghost in the Shell first, you will understand more.

The Yoshinoya beef bowl game

Do you would know the Yoshinoya beef bowl shop? Ah, they are in difficulty because of the BSD scare and they cannot sell their beef bowl specialty in Japan. Why? Japan has restricted beef imports from the US.

Any ways, this is Yoshinoya game from a game from Play Station 2.

Yoshinoya is a franchise shop who has a big, very big manual for all aspects of management. But within such restrictions, they still try to pursue "more sevice", "more speed", "in a more effecient way". Then you should try making extreme beefbowl. Hmm, I have to tell you I can sense a kind of Japonism here "limited originality". I laughed at that, you have to add your own "Sincerity" to the bowl while hitting the button repeatedly to the finish.
