Omote Sando Hills
I am sleepy, because most of the Torino olympic live coverage comes on TV after midnight. The opening ceremony was beautiful, and I am glad to see this time the Japanese team didn't wear strange uniforms like the summer ones.
In Tokyo, finally Omote Sando Hills was opened yesterday. The Mori Building produced and Tadao Ando designed the building. It is in between Harajuku and Aoyama area, check it out.
In Hanamaki Iwate Pref, Wanko Soba Championships was held. This is the English report of last years one. This year a winner ate 241 cups of soba and it was new records. It means he ate about 24 bowls of regular Japanese noodles...burp.

hi, i am also interested in OmoteSando Hills, can you give me more info about it?
thx. ;)

Hi There
I have not visited there yet, I suppose it would be crowded now, and I hate such place. I will wait for a while.

Have you been to Omotesando Hills yet? I was planning on going last weekend, but figured it would be too crowded as it was opening day.
Will definately try to check it out within the next few weeks though.

If Japan Olympic Team wore pajamas to ceremony like they did before during the summer games, they'd probably be cold in addition to being fashion victims...
24 bowls of soba in one sitting? Yup, that's a BIG burrrrrp! =P
