New weapon for roach

WeaponAh, is this a French company's work? These Ripolin posters are great: 'our walls deserve a paint which will age well.'

Tokyo is so warm. We didn't have any snow this winter and pollen allergy season has come earlier. The cherry blossoms will bloom and we will find bugs soon. Do you find cockroaches at your home? Do you use any roach control product? Usually people use roach traps or toxic baits. But it is very hard for people who hate roaches to check or touch those traps to throw them away. So a few years ago, home products maker Hakugen had released "Gokipao." (We call roaches GOKIBURI ) A slogan for the product was "you don't need to see roaches." It's a bubble jet spray. You can wrap and stop roaches by bubble and you can throw it away when the bubble gets harder. It was great for people who hate roaches but the bad part was you couldn't use it on rags or tatami because the bubble was sticky and couldn't be removed from rough surfaces. Then this year another new weapon has released from the lion. It's a super refrigeration spray. You can freeze roaches in an instant with -40C air. It has no poison or sticky stuff. Although you have to see roaches, that's the way with most chemically-inert products. I will report when I find some reviews on the Internet.

Hi there
okay I will pick some Ume and Sakura picture in the future post. :-)
bshock, yes that is ture, I don't know it can damage people. I will find the review post soon.

I'm a little worried about that product, Hyosatsu. I like the fact that it doesn't contain pesticides, but I'm worried that it might harm people -- particularly children -- if misused. Whether -40 degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius (I'm guessing Celsius), this temperature is easily cold enough to cause frostbite on human skin, or perhaps even on deeper tissue. That might be good for wart removal, but otherwise...

Please take Care, Gather that this was one of the rare years that Tokyo didn't snow in Winter, kind of mild, but hints that Summer might be warm.

Not sure of the Typhoon situation, especially with the warmer weather.

"Major" Mari, it seem that we share a common enemy, household cockroach.

Allow me to introduce a natural repellent:
Pandanus amaryllifolius: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandanus_amaryllifolius

It's used in Asian region in their food stuff, yes the juices are used to color and favor food, Just it's environmentally friendly, but not to the roaches.

Roaches seem to steer away from Pandanus amaryllifolius. If you want, Ueno, near the JR line, if the market is still around, some of these can be obtained.

It is easy to grow in our warm climate, but people tend to help themselevs to others people crop.

For Direct Action, may I recommend, Surgical Alcohol (Note in tatami situation, Alcohol easily catches fire, so no flames till it's completely dried out)

I have a squeeze bottle, filled with Surgical Alcohol (about 60%) mix with water(40%). Pure Alcohol is Ok, mix with water to make the mixture last longer.

Aim at the Roach, Spray and Pray that it's soul will reincarnate into a better form.

Ps the Alcohol will kill all the nasty stuff the Roach carries with/within it.

Any Pictures of Ume or Sakura???
