Wii and Gundam

ToasterI really envy her: "Swedish Woman Gets Superfast Internet." As an Internet topic, I suppose you have read this, "A subway map of web trends 2.0." The map was modified from Tokyo Metro map because the company "iA" which produced the map is located in Tokyo. By the way, "strange map" is a really interesting site. Look at this one; it is very helpful to understand the U.S for me.

I got a Wii! I have sore muscles in my shoulder because of tennis. It was fun, though I need a new game soon. Then this seems fun: "Mobile Suit Gundam MS Front 0079." At the Nintendo Wii site, I can check the movie of the game here and here. That guy who plays the game is Toru Furuya, the voice actor of Amro in the first Gundam.

I found another Gundam topic, Fujikyu High Land is an amusement park near Mt.Fuji. They have a new attraction named "Gundam Crisis". It is a sort of simulation game. You control a small pad VQ divider and boost the Gundam in the time limit. This attraction became a topic for their real-size Gundam. They released a Blog tool, and you can see it in this blog. Click the target, and a big Gumdam will show up on the site. If you like it, here is the code of the blogpart.

Talking about video games, I wonder if tricks of the game would be the same completely in the Japanese version and English version. This is the video of a trick of Dragon Quest 6. He tried to use Prohibition names several times, and finally made God angry, so that he couldn't change his name without paying 5000 gold. Do you have this?

This is a good post: "McDonald's Strange Menu Around the World." Wow, in Germany Mac serves Beer!! In Chile they use avocado sauce! Amazing. Yes, maybe the Japanese love seafood sandwiches.

I think I am the only person in the world who doesn't like to play video games.

I liked the Dragon Quest 6 video. It was a good review of some funny Japanese words that I don't often see.

It seems like the makers of this game were very strict, though. Many of those words didn't sound so bad to me.

You got a Wii! Good for you! Was it a long wait? I've been thinking about buying one, but last time I checked (here in the US), there was a wait time of a couple of months

Strange US map - Gee...Minnesota is closest to Norway in GNP and culture - what a surprise! ;) (not!)

At McDonald's in Minnesota, you can get Walleye sandwiches...I still wanna know why 7-11's in Japan DON'T have Slurpees! That's the whole point of goin' th the 7-11!

(for the Slurpee deprived, check out the links below ~ Shitzureshimashita Mari-san! Daijoubu desuka)

i am thinking to get a Wii this year at christmas for the family. It seems to be a lot of fun for everyone else, so i think we would enjoy it.

Sadly, there was no English version of Dragon Quest 6. English speaking DQ fans have had to make due with fan translations for DQ 5 and 6.
