The Sky Crawlers

Ha ha ha ha hah

Do you eat quail and quail and quail egg? I love quail eggs. We use them for Chinese dishes, Yakitori, etc., various types of food except for Sunny side up. (this guy did it with a lot of quail eggs, it looks weird.) By the way, since the egg is so small, peeling the shell is a very very hard job. But do you know this? When you soak them with clam shells too, the eggs' shells are automatically removed. Wow, strange, I didn't know that.

The Japanese novel "The Sky Crawlers" will be made into film this August, here is trailer. The director is Mamoru Oshii who is well known as the director of Ghost In the Shell and Innocent. And also the movie was made into a Wii game with the Ace Combat Team. I am looking forward to watching it and also playing it.

Showas era is the period of Japanese history corresponding to the reign of Emperor Showa (Hirohito), from December 25, 1926 to January 7, 1989. I guess Japan would have the biggest change during the Showa era, because of the rise of ultra-nationalism, the military state, two big wars, American occupation and also economic recovery. By the way, in this blog she rented an apartment over 30 years and lived with two cats in a Showa retro modern mood Interior. I am not a big fan of Japanese retro modern interior, but I think she did a really good job.
