Here in Okinawa we have Blue Seal. Which is apparently a US brand, but I have only seen it here!

Joe,
You can find the Häagen Dazs single serving cups in most grocery stores for $1.00

Ben & Jerrys is really SUGOI!

Joe

Wow. Ice cream is apparently way cheaper in Japan than the US; I've never seen ice cream for $1 outside of McDonald's or another fast food joint.

Anyways, kinako or kurogoma soft serve (sofuto kurimu) is best. Cookies and cream if you're going with flavors available in the US.

Jeff

This is kind of a dumb question, but do people in Japan know that Haagen Dazs is American? I ask because most Americans don't!

Mari, this http://www.grom.jp/ is the very lovely Italian ice cream!!! I really suggest you to taste the Grom Cream... lovely.
