He uses his fingers to do the dance from Michael Jackson's Thriller. It's
pretty good and we can feel Michael’s presence.
This is beautiful: a paper craft Castle on the Ocean by Wataru Ito, an art school student.
This is interesting: "Rome restaurant in hot soup for 700-euro lunch tab." We don't know the truth, but the funny part is that the Japanese couple didn't get angry when they were at the restaurant. Ha ha… that's the Japanese for you. By the way, I had a similar experience in France. I paid a lot for a sandwich, but I only realized it when I got to the hotel at night because I couldn't calculate the conversion so quickly.

hi thanks, I don't like to go to the restaurant on guide book actually. local one is much better!

The Rome restaurant was just a typical rip-off of naive tourists.
My wife (she's Japanese) and I were in Florence once and we went to the best fish restaurant recommended by her Japanese guide book. There was a caterpillar in her salad. I called a waiter and asked, "What's this?" and he said it was a peppercorn. I still make a joke about it sometimes, 12 years later.
There was a Japanese TV personality and his entourage in the restaurant at the same time. Small world.
Of course there are plenty of absolutely great Italian restaurants too, and the same for any country you might visit. You can't rely totally on guidebooks but in my experience they are right about 80% of the time.

I think the Japanese couple probably thought the meal was expensive, but didn't realize how unusually expensive it was until they talked with someone about it. That would explain their delayed reaction.
