I think that this is a really great idea: air umbrella. We won't need to carry big wet umbrellas anymore. But I wonder if it sprays the rain outward or if it's painful to touch the air outlet.

These are probably more comfortable than the mary jane type MBT. They are not as high. From the first time I wore them they were extremely comfortable, no breaking in period. I got them for casual wear but use them in work a lot because I like them better than the mary jane style. I work 12 hour shifts in the nursery, on my feet the whole shift. Never a problem. The straps can be worn at the ankle and in front. Nice for slipping on and off if you get hot. I ordered a half size larger. Worth every penny you spend.
