I see like a billion new burgers on the menu.. changing all the time. Adding bbq sauce and bacon to a quarter-pounder on a big mac bun would just seem kind of ghetto.

This burger is great and I got like 3 of them before they were sold out at my local McDonalds.
I wonder if this will contribute to helping makers/designers of Japanese products that if something isn't designed for "unique japanese taste" (or skin, hair, dna.. blah blah whatever...) it actually doesn't matter one bit.
I never see the stupid Tsukimi burger sold out.. nor the Tatsuta chicken... and how many of us remember the huge failure of the Ebi Filet-O? The only "japanese taste" burger that seems to have succeeded is the Teriyaki Burger (which I actually like) but never notice many Japanese ordering them. Conclusion: Just make good burgers. Forget about FORCING Japanese-ish type ingredients unless they will actually make it better.
Agree with you about wasabi though. A nice wasabi-mayonnaise sauce on a grilled chicken patty and sour-dough bun would work.

P.S. No one would blink an eye if Texas Burger was released in the states.. everytime I go back, I see like a billion new burgers on the menu.. changing all the time. Adding bbq sauce and bacon to a quarter-pounder on a big mac bun would just seem kind of ghetto.

I've seen an AD on Japanese TV... I think Mos Burger (if I'm not wrong) is preparing tsuna burger! What do you think?
