Major general contractor Maeda had a fantasy section which estimated site construction fees of building in animation or movies. In 2003 they estimated cost of garage mazingerZ at 72 milion dollars. They said the elevated bridge of Galaxy express 999 would be cost at 37 million dollars. The section suspend operations for a while but they begin a new project recently. This time they estimate Jaburo of Gundam. They serialize their project in this Gundum site, it's really fun to read their Otaku talking. If you like it try with translation.
Gantz is a Japanese manga that tells the story of two boys who died in a train accident. After the accident, they found they were in a small room with a big black ball. It's beginning of a semi-posthumous "game" in which they and several other recently deceased people are forced to hunt down and kill aliens "SEIJIN". Gantz was made into live action film and will be released in January 2011. Nino of "Letters from Iwo Jima".and Kenichi Matsuyama of Detroit Metal City and Death Note will act those two boys. Now we can see only short teaser.

Hahaha. I dont know my feeling about Gantz movie. But I do think Nino's performance in Letters from Iwo Jima was very good. It is a big transition in my mind. Do manga transition well to live action? It is the same question for Comic films in America. I'm having mixed thoughts on the matter. ^-^ But I will definitely watch~.
