It's so beautiful. Please listen.
Row your boat
Row it with your own hands
Don't let those who would be happy to see you gone
Have your oars
Where is that boat
Floating now?
Where is that run-down boat
Headed now?
Trying not to get washed away
The boat fights, the boat gets damaged
Even if all the sailors
Run away in fear
Row your boat
Row it with your own hands
Don't let those who would be happy to see you gone
Have your oars
Has that boat forgotten
That it's a ship of the sky?
Has that boat forgotten
What it's like to fly?
On land or sea, the horizon
Is where it takes off
Even if all the ports
Put out their lights in silence
Row your boat
Row it with your own hands
Don't let those who would be happy to see you gone
Have your oars
What test is this?
What do the scales judge?
What are you after?
What makes that boat go?
What test is this?
What do the scales judge?
What are you after?
What makes that boat go?
Row your boat
Row it with your own hands
Don't let those who would be happy to see you gone
Have your oars
Row your boat
Row it with your own hands
Don't let those who would be happy to see you gone
Have your oars
A song about rowing boats, storms and whatnot is prescient considering the recent and tragic tsunami and typhoon.
Nakajima Miyukis predicted the future with this song!

Beautiful indeed. ;___;
How could I have missed that particular song?!? It's just great! Well, probably because I am way too far away from Japan... -___-
I always loved Nakajima Miyukis songs... she's got such a strong and hard voice, but still manages to sound so vulnerable. O.O
I still like to listen to her song 空と君の間に
and 地上の星 is also an all time favorite of mine... During the months I spent in Nagoya the latter one was played wherever I seemed to go... Classic! T_T
Ah well! *wipes tears away* Thanks! =D
You just helped me decide where I will head to for my vacation this fall! Need to see Japan again - I just miss it too much!
Ja ne~
