AXE

Sorry, I can't find good topics today, post is short :-)
This is the most crazy news I found today. That is the sketch of the suspect that Thailand plolice made...ah...

I picked guys's fregrance AXE here, here because their ADs and site were alreasy crazy. I found today foriegn AXE TV ads, lookd at this weired...orz.

UFO

UfoAhhhhhhhhhh!!.

Japanese government says existence of UFOs unconfirmed. Hmm, I don't think the Japanese govenment will say yes even though a UFO fell down in front of the Diet Building. Recently I really feel this country is very conservative, wimpy, and lacking in policy. By the way, NISSIN is the maker of cupnoodles, and they have instant fried noodles called "UFO." Have you ever seen it? This is crazy UFO TV ad. That American guy will be Don Frye. He says, "guys shouldn't leave a noodle, guys should leave a name."
Anyway, unfortunately no big topic in Tokyo today. Sorry for the short post.

I enjoyed reading this much: "Does Time Really Slow Down during a Frightening Event?" It's very interesting.

Black toilet paper was released already, but this is not yet: "black tissue". Hmm, I like that. A tissue box destroys the fine mood of a stylish room easily.

CyberGadget released a Famicom game adapter, "the cyber Familator Lite". Do you still have any Famicom games now?

Tonight we're having "Bonenkai" for my job section. We will go to a Sushi place. My favorite Sushi is Anago, Kohada and Botan Ebi. I hope the sushi place has them tonight.

Dualis New ads and two Enjyo cases

Before, I picked NISSAN DUALIS, which has a very cool TV ad and site. They've released version2. Here are the movies.

Factory

Another versions are here
Pass
Fly
Resting
Delivery
They are all cook, check them out.

I mentioned about how Tera Pork Bowll became a topic in Japan. Yohinoya said they handed down punishments to two part-time workers. Apparently they fired them. At the same time, KFJ had a similar ENJYO. One part-time worker wrote he fried a cockroach at the shop, saying, "Do you know a roach is hard to kill. They survive for a while in the oil," or something like that on his SNS. It was a bad joke actually, but for me, KFJ case was worse. The boy apologized to the shop soon and the Enjyo was distinguished like Yoshinoya. But those two companies' attitudes were different. Yohinoya said, "Yohinoya will put together an organization to find the appropriate part-time workers and when we find them, we will punish those involved severely...." On the other hand, KFJ said, "Since the person is a minor, we will respond with our best effort for this person's future."

I read an interesting article about those ENJYO on CNET JAPAN. Some people made comments on the topic. And one guy's comment got huge support. "There are white jokes and black jokes. Yoshinoya doesn't seem to know how to react to 'white jokes.' On the other hand, KFJ did make it to even a bad black Joke," etc. I agree with him. Of course we should know what is ok to write on the net and what is NG to write on the net. But we should know how to react to them too. I suppose many people read the reaction of Yohinoya with a wry smile. But people complained to Yohinoya seriously or even half-jokingly. We must see some "death penalty" (we use the words, black out from the cyber world by ENJYO) on the Internet recently. I hate that.

cocoro and strange ads

RabWhat a movie: "How to kill a chocolate bunny." This is the art work "chocolate haas" of this guy.

I picked a dentist patient simroid yesterday. I found the movie of Adtroid DER2 "Cocoro." Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, weird. It might be traumatic for dentists.

Some ad topics. PEPSI ad posters in Germany. Cool!!! This poster is PlayStation3 for Europe. Hmm, I don't get the concept well. Then this is crazy. The low temperature of winter can strip the skin of moisture. So we will see a lot of ads for moisture cream. BUT this TV ad is so scary. Actually I can barely look it. They don't need to zoom.

I laughed at this collection of bugs from "Winning Eleven." Where will he go? Nobody touch it. Ahh ouch!! The field was mud??, they can do it forever, this won't be bug, just a super goal? what's wrong with him, Ha ha ha, Who is that behind the goal??

crazy ads

Sushi This became a topic on the Internet in Japan: when we search YouTube on Google Japan, why does it show gay people videos every time? I don't know why too.

The Tokyo Motor Show was over on the 11th. In this movie, you can check the Tokyo concept car , Honda concept car PUYO and also Nissan PIVO2. I like Puyo and PIVO2 -- we won't need to back and parallel park!!

Talking about Nissan, I picked this Nissan Dualis cool ad. It's a viral ad. This site is the world viral ad collection page; I like this clock battery one. As Japanese ads, Japanese sushi delivery shop Gin no sara (silver dish) has weird ads. Three heavy metal fan brothers and a Sushi woman's story. Here is 1.2.3.4 crazy...

Drink Milk!

MilkWe call a not-so-funny joke a "chilly joke" (samui joke), it's sort of slang. When somebody tells a trashy joke, you can reply "Oh Chilly! (samui!)". In the same way, we use the word "sore" (itai) for something or someone that is self-satisfied, a misconception, or is an annoyance. Last week, some sites picked cars with animation print like this, this and this. "Ita-sha(car)" stands for Italian cars that we admire usually, but we call those animation cars "Ita-sha" (sore car) in a voice loaded with sarcasm. Ahhh itai ne!.

Talking about Itai topic! Finally, the maid cafe craze is slowing down, so some shops try to provide weird unique service. On the other hand, we have some another "theme cafe" topics. I wrote about a butler cafe cafe before, and last week I read about eyeglass cafe, hero cafe and this funny one this scientist lab coat cafe. Hmm in this way, we have various cafes for every fetish.

These 1,2,3,4 are foreign "drink milk" TV ads. Interesting, because we have exactly the same concept TV ads, and they are funny too. This is a great one; acrobat shopping. This is Matrix classroom. These TV ads are a series and this is an old one.

By the way, I didn't like milk when I was a kid, so my mom let me drink coffee milk or strawberry milk. I don't drink such flavored milk recently. Green tea milk, banana milk, melon milk, orange milk, fruit milk, they look nice.

Cats are cute

NikukyuGood post! "Toys that should not exist." The first one looks like a Japanese toy...orz.

One of my favorite sites "thin building" added some new buildings. Look at this one. You can hug the building in your arms. Can you imagine that?

A Travel web site "Ja-lan"'s TV ads are cute. A cat travels SPA town and enjoys a Ryokan(Japanese hotel), Onsen (SPA), etc. Cat food brand AIXIA has cute ads. They made this one by public posting, cuuuuuute...This is a Japanese version, the last shot made me melt down.

By the way, when you see the page about paws on Wikipedia, on the English page, they show a dog's paw and on the Japanese page they show a cat's paw. Actually, Japanese love cat's paw very much. In Japanese, a cat's paw is called "NIKUKYU," meaning meat balls :-) This is the picture book of cat paw, this is cat paw toy, cat paw key chains, cat paw ball point pen, cat paw shaped sweets.

Iwami silver mine will be added to the world heritage. Here is an English site about Iwami Silver. As an industrial heritage, this is the first place in Japan. They still have from when they thrived on silver.

Powered Suit of Nissan Dualis

DualisWow! I love wet cat photos. Miserable and Lovely... I made this wet cat wall paper before.

I want this "SUGOI cable." You can copy data between two PCs easily with the cable. No need to make a network. My Notebook PC is acting up recently. I should copy data before it passes away.

Nissan DUALIS has unique TV ads with a Powered Suit that looks like a robot. This is the TV ad. You can see other power suit movies on the site. Here are movies on YouTube, 1, 2, 3, 4. Cool but they seem to be evil! Don't you think so? I prefer the vinegar robot. And I will add this TV ad as a car topic; "Car music" of Honda Civic.

I suppose "E" will have the highest frequency in the use of alphabet. No? This site (web translated) checked it about Japanese Hiragana. They picked 10 articles from a newspaper and counted the number of Hiragana. No.1 い (i) No.2 ん(n) No.3 か(ka) No.4 し(shi). Only those 4 hiragana account for 26% of the entire 10811 letters. I did not know that.

Old Sony TV ad

JiroWhat is this? and I want this. What? Do I pick sexual jokes often? No, no, I don't have any sexual frustration, don't worry about it.

This is Japanese designer Sakura Adashi's official site. Look at this book shelf "cave", かわいい~ so cute. I want it. She made a Cave for pet too, pets will love it.

I like this Sony Mp3 Walkman S700 ad, This is KISS, this is Blue Man Group, this is Marilyn Manson. S700 is so tough and plays so long, the make up didn't last. Ha ha. I don't know which country's ad this is. I had a really good image for Sony (Japan) ads before; I found this old Ad today on youtube. He was a real monkey, and it's a nice admiring face. But recently see? So many babies and kids. Actually I can find cool ads in foreign Sony (like Bravia. -- I wonder if this is related to Sony Japan), but Sony in Japan seems to lack energy recently. I don't need a conservative Sony.

Tabane-noshi-monyo-furisode is a yuzen-dyed kimono which was made in the 18th Centruy, and it's an Important Cultural Property of Japan. It was under restoration for two years and then finally will be released at Kyoto National museum on the 11th. It's Beautiful. That kimono belonged to a Japanese antique art dealer, but John D. Rockefeller, Jr bought it to give it away to Kyoto where he liked. Thanks, it's a beautiful story too.

My banned TV ads collection

NudeUh...Today I have no time to write blog.
So I will make list from my archive "Banned TV commerctial in the world". Looking anew at my list. I wonder if I like sex joke. heh heh heh heh (私ったらお下品だわ)

Nudist from Germany ? : Okay it was so mini mini. :-)
Swedish company IKEA has great but banned TV ads a lot.
Hi Daddy, Tidy up for your girlfriend, Spaghetti and Where it is? : I love "Hi Daddy", that's lovely and happy ad.
A kid :This would be famous one. When I saw this firt, I shouted "I agree!" :-p
Yours : Cute, very cute. They looks like pikmin, don't they?
Learn English : La la la la Family song. Yes we should learn English, this ad show it too.
This is banned panasonic TV ad : Hmm this would not be made in Japan. Which contry?
JAPP : Who can hate JAPP guy.
As a Japanese, I need to concern to this NIKE one : What? Ninjya? Appearently they wear masks of Kendo. Yes Ninjya and Geisha are always representitive of Japan.

By the way, of course the rule of "banned" will be different in each countries. I think Spaghetti one seems to be okay in Japan. Maybe people wil complain and company may hold back it sooner or later. Actually some Horror movies ads have been held back because of people's protests.
Anyway I like this! : Yes, let's shape!
