I had an endoscope test this morning; the doctor said I have a light inflammation around my stomach. orz... I should stop drinking scotch straight-up (for a while...right?!) Anyway I paid about 7000yen ($68 or so?) for the check-up and medicine. Is that expensive? By the way, it wasn't hard for me to get this endoscope check-up. And as a health geek, it is always a pleasure to know what is going on inside my body. Hello my esophagus! That was how I felt actually.
So... I did not have enough time to find an interesting topic during my lunchtime. On such days, my favorite site nifty Z always comes through for me. I've introduced this funny post "eat quail eggs as much as I want" before. It was a trial where this woman eats her favorite food 'quail eggs' until she can't stand it. Last month this same woman tried another trial; "Is it true that nearly-spoiled food is delicious?!. Ha ha she seems to have really taken charge of this "food project" topic. This time her challenge was "Let's fry foods that usually we don't". She fried Natto, melon & fruits, Japanese sweets, Japanese pickles =Tsukemono etc,. Then she discovered fried Sushi is great, actually they look delicious, after all it is fried fish and fried rice. I suppose you may have experienced the disappointment of leaving sushi for one day in the refrigerator only to have it dry out. Next time PLEASE fry them! I will try this too!.
Anyway, I always like her annoyed face . Yeah, she does these things for our fun at the risk of her life :-) Yes Gambatte!
At sushi restaurants in Michigan, they often deep-fry sushi, like tempura... it is incredibly delicious.

Hi there
Thank you Gwen, I changed grilled into fried all. Yes yes Japanese (or only me ) are confused the difference of loast, grill, fry, bake. When we say "fried", it means french fry or Tonkatsu or fried chicken etc,. it means "deep fried" into oil. Fried rice or this type of way, we say "Itameru".

Damn quails...They look so harmless but their eggs are too deadly!

Yucks ! I can't imagine tolerating the endoscope test.
Quail eggs are very high in cholesterol.

Actually, I've seen "sushi pizza" in Canada, which is various sushi toppings on a "crust" of deep-fried sushi rice. Never tried it because it looks awful, but it seems popular.

Fried Mars Bar... First tried one in the U.K. whilst visiting family-- much like Starbuck's new Chantico or anything else that's good... in that it's good, but not so healthy...

I think ... it's $68 ... not $680 lol that's too much!
Also, the word you might be looking for is "fried" not grilled. Grilled is when you cook it over an open flame over grills ^^; Because I saw how she cooked it, it's on a pan, so we call that "fry"
