In foreign countries, maybe a standing bar is not so rare, but unfortunately you won't find too many in Japan. I like standing bars because they are reasonably priced and also a good place for conversation. Ebisu is my favorite town for dining out and drinking. I just talked about Kimukatsu recently. Last week I went to standing wine bar. It is called Whoopee(JP). Whoopee is about 30 seconds from the Ebisu West exit, but it is very hard to find because it is inside a very old Japanese supermarket. After the fish macket closes. a small path to Whoopee's door is opened. Here is the map and here is that supermarket. Ebisu Store, next to Mont bell. Please try to find it!
Not just Whoopee though, there are some othre really good standing bars in Ebisu.
CASABLANCA Vin Vino (map), Aburi dori Balicho(JP)(map), Nos Bar & Dining (map), Ebisu 18ban(JP) (map), Ebisu Ekimae Shokudo(JP) (map), were all opened within the few years and are very popular now. And I got found out recently that a new standing bar has opened which serves shop, Spanish wine. It is called Tapachos (map). Their wine is around 400 yen and their, food prices start from around 300yen. Ah I think people like to drink in standing at Daddy's table too, with 500 yen you can eat Japanese junk sweets freely, just try it once.
As anybody understands respect is one of the most imperative amongst people's existence. Only respect one another to obtain along properly and I feel that leaving one's opinion is often a behavior of respect. Do you feel so?

Problem with such quintessential Jap places is that I don't know how to order after I succeed in getting there.
