Everyday I read about "Winny" on the news in Japan. Have you every heard about it? It is a sort of peer to peer file sharing program. My.47 developed it and LARK updated it. The discussion on 2channel (here are my post, one more) leaded the developing of the program. Unfortunately this is in Japanese, look the list. Not only private companies, also many people on public office, hospital, fire dept, police, school use Winny and upload lists of names, electronic image to the cyber world.
Today's Winny is a stuff of a comedy show "Sanma no Karakuri TV" got Winny virus and on-screen talents and their families data drain to the world. Then finally Chief Cabinet Secretary Shinzo Abe has asked the public not to use the file exchange software Winny today. I don't use it, even though Winny itself is not illegal program, it's very risky. By the way, Mr.47 said he can stop information leaks by program modification, but he is put on trial for aiding and abetting breaching of the Copyright Act, so he can't touch Winny. Well Winny get screwed Japan now.
By the way, here are pages I enjoyed today, cats, Now and next, I like that! I remember The Dead zone by Stephen King.*
The accompanying image looks so fun but the current situation and Winny itself aren't...I guess.

That "Now and Next" is funny. I'll think briefly about that the next time someone is rude to me.
