Do you know Ultraman? Here is an article "Japanese superhero finally makes his way to discs". Personally I love Ultra Seven and actually Seven is said to be the best of the series. Ultra series ( including Seven ) were made with due consideration for exporting. So they hardly have Japanese house and Japanese room scenes and many foreigner appeared. I think that is the reason why they have a little bit of neo-futuristic, science fiction, borderless and also kitsch mood.
This is the thinnest building I have ever seen in a foreign coutry. In this small country, it's not so odd though.
Photo shop work? maybe. Actually it is very diffcult to tell real or paint. This is a great works using illustrator. These posters of HONDA are great art works of illustrator(maybe)
Regarding Hello Vader: I think it would have been just a little more cute if they had painted the mouth grillwork white and the nose indentation yellow!
