The very popular health TV show "Aru Aru Daijiten" said an apple makes your weight decrease. The rule is 1. eat before your three meals each day, 2. eat half of an apple. 3. eat green apples. In two weeks, you may lose three kg or so. I will try.
Since we have a three day weekend, I am relaxing at home and just net surfing. And checking comments I got. I love this link I got from Ken. NY Halloween costume play. I really love that Wonder Woman, actually I made my wallpaper and she is on my desktop. I am sorry I don't reply to each comment, but I read them all always.
By the way, Ministry of Agriculture said they will make a system to the quality of food served at Japanese restaurants abroad. That is nice! I wrote that fake Sushi restaurant was an issue in Paris. But not only Paris, I heard some awful food was served as Japanese food. I read of Cucumber Tempura, broccoli in Udon, etc... Even though it isn't so far different, it may hard to take for us. Do you know what is Tonkatsu? I found some photos from a guy who is living in Seattle. This is the Tonkatsu in Seattle...why are fried vegetables under the pork katsu?? Why is the sauce soy sauce? We don't eat tonkatsu with soy sauce. It is a very basic rule. If you don't have Tonkatsu sauce (this is post of handmade Tonkatsu sauce), Worcestershire sauce is much better. This is rice. I have no idea, why the orange and potato salad need to be attached. You don't know how much Ginshari is important for Japanese food.
But I know we make strange Pasta, Indian people will think Japanese curry is not curry at all. Foreign countries might have to impose a qualification system. :-)
Japanese curry sauce is indeed very different from most Indian curries (and one must use the plural for "curries," because it seems every family has its own very different recipe). However, I've found most Japanese curry to have a very pleasant, soothing taste. Most of the time, my wife buys the "Golden Curry" brand sauce.

Wonder Woman's hair is amazing!
I couldn't get the f2c.com images to work, but on that topic, there's a fine line between fusion type cooking and just getting it wrong. Part of it, I suspect, falls on what the customer is expecting when they order something. If it deviates sufficiently from the traditional style, hopefully it'll say so in the menu.
As for rice, I prefer haiga-mai.
