Today is Kagami Biraki day! We open this "kagami mochi" and eat as Oshiruko. I ate lunch at the canteen recently, they sold Oshiruko by 150yen today. At the canteen I found they don't have any natto today. I didn't suppose we would have such a quick effect! Today's news said Natto is sold out and the maker has apologized on their web site. It's crazy isn't it. By the way, this is a short English video talk about Japanese New Year, check it out. (Oshiruko was boiled hard, and my American friends boil Miso soup hard too. But boiling long time makes Miso soup and Oshiruko taste down.) Another food topic is this, I am glad to know NY Times had this article "Mr Noodle". I am proud as a Japanese!
I thought this funny Japaish was dishonorable, but now wiki has "all your base are belong to us" page...Hmm I can change my mind. It looks like a good toy for people. I may be proud of that. As strange English, I like this cryptic warning. Apparently it's Japanese, but I have never seen it and I am not sure where it should be. Public SPA? I have really no idea.
Takashi Murakami's art work Hiropon cost over $40,000. (I don't know the price of lonesome cowboy) This is contemporary Chinese art. Hmm looks nice. This may be good investing in the future. Do you want one?.
