I found the Wikipedia:Unusual articles page is different in each language. I will pick some from Japanese unusual articles. Some have English pages, some don't. I will pick some unique ones.

This is a common topic between English and Japanese Engrish : I wrote sometimes too, for example, these are my post 1, 2.

The "Sony timer" article doesn't surprise me. I've often been disappointed by the quality of Sony products; my PlayStation 2 broke about a week after I got it, and I've had Sony headphones that have broken within two weeks. The Sony-made battery in my Apple laptop had to be replaced because they were catching fire! I try to avoid the Sony name when I'm buying electronics.

I've been kancho'd. When I taught English to children in Japan, every once in a while one of the little brats would sneak up behind me and BAM! It made me very mad. I understand Japanese people think it's just a silly childish game, but to Westerners, it's sexual assault; not acceptable at all.
