There are very few roaches where I live, but I have a serious "thing" about spiders (arachnophobia!) Spiders are just fine as long they stay outside where they belong. If I see one in my house I start screaming. I can't stand the sight of 'em! If I see a spider anywhere at anytime in my home, I have to kill it immediately or I can't sleep (@-@)wondering where the heck it is or if it will crawl on me (and bite me!) while I am sleeping! (totemo kawaii!) But I absolutely will not touch one, dead or alive; so, I have also found some "earth friendly" (no insecticide) methods for spider removal/killing. I use extra-hold hair spray (pump spray kind is just fine), but not if the spider (or roach for Mai-san ;)) is on a surface that might stain. Otherwise I use a vacuum cleaner with a long hose and nozzle - or else I call a MAN to take care of it ~ what else are men good for (besides the obvious;)) other than taking out the trash and killing bugs? (a joke!;))

So, what did you hate about "Lost in Translation," besides the fact that it was boring, pointless, and somehow managed to be set in Japan but irrelevant to Japan? ;-)
