Wow! 8 guys are from Johnny's association. Johnny's seems to extending their power in Japanese entertainment. However, like I wrote, there are rumors that the ranking is fabricated. I heard that the editorial room of anan likes Kimutaku, or maybe Johnny's is putting pressure on anan? Actually Johnny's has always had dark reputations. It is famous that the founder Johnny Kitagawa is a gay guy and that he had sexual harassment claims often in the past. It is always said that Johnny's pressures the media about inconvenient problems for them and also that they cast out inconvenient talents. Some pointed out that Hiroshi Tamaki or Joe Odagiri aren't ranked in the top 10 (Tamaki was No1, Odagiri was No2 in other major magazines or mixi). They said this is both Johnny's and anan's willful doing because Tamaki took the central role on Nodame Cantabile from Junichi Okada and Odagiri refused to be photographed by anan...huh...interesting.
By the way, I guess Kimutaku will be inducted into the Hall of Fame of anan in a few years. It would be the common ground for this race. I don't think anan and Johnny's will let Kimutaku rank down and come off second best to someone else.
Talking about nice looking boys, I found this interesting topic. I wrote that we have various types of cafe besides maid cafes. Today I've got a new one, it's a "Gymnasium cafe". This Gymnasium cafe's motif is the famous manga "The Thoma's heart" by Moto Hagio that has a complex story of love, life and friendship set in a German boys' school. The movies, Maurice and Another country have such themes, but "The heart of Thoma" is more religious, some said it's a sort of legitimate novel. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the story of the manga, so I linked to Japanese wiki (and web translated). By the way, the cafe will serve tea by beautiful boys with ruffled shirts and string ties in a tragic mood?! Ha! girls will like it.
Wow, I didn't know about Johnny's dark history! In England, the newspapers love scandal and gossip, so this kind of story would become big news. I wonder if he sexually harassed the SMAP members?
