This is the work of Japanese gay artist Naomichi. Traditional mood is good.
This is a nice sticky note, you can see the level of importance at glance. Talking about sticky notes, I remember Slice and leafusen of KOKUYO design award 2006. Since I have never seen it on the shop, they wouldn't be products for sale. I don't use paper at work anymore, and so I didn't know sticky notes had such good designs. I found butterfly, flowers. And this online shop sells Japanese sweet motif sticky notes, odango, sakura mochi, etc. It's good for a souvenir.
I found some unique Kitchen stuff. This is "lettuce pattern aluminum." It will work as a divider in an Obento box, the products from Obento culture :-). My favorite obento site is this. Don't you think this is art!? Rabbit obento. The brown part is soy sauce. This "one push moyo dropper" comes from Obento culture too. I like this idea "Tofu cutter." To make miso soup, we need to cut tofu into small cubes. This will be nice for foreign people too. "Soy sauce dropper chopstick." Talking about soy sauce, Kikkoman has its 50th anniversay in the U.S and some people in the Congress introduced resolutions "Honoring Kikkoman Foods, Inc. and its 50 years of commitment to providing quality products to the United States." It's here and here. Hmm, interesting.
This is a Japanese topic site "the cscountjapan com". I got a mail from Michael a few days ago. Thanks, Michael. I am very glad to know you like my blog.
It's nice to the the US Congress doing something sensible in honoring Kikkoman :) I can easily understand this -- I've been using キッコマン しょうゆ and うまくち for years, and I wouldn't consider using any other brand for Japanese cooking. All the sodium is probably giving me high blood pressure, but the taste is worth it. Just to be on the safe side though, I do exercise regularly and otherwise limit my salt intake. But I'll never give up Kikkoman, no matter what the doctor tells me.
