Tomorrow is the last working day for me, after which I will have off for 11 days!! La la la la la la la la, I am a very happy person now. I couldn't find a good topic to talk about, sorry for the short post.
I think anime eyes are not so strange, what do you think? So suprising: "Man's skin turn dark blue."
Speaking of a blue man, Desslar springs to mind. I am not sure if young people now know the old Japanese anime "Space Battleship Yamato" (Uchu Senkan Yamato). Recently two strange items are being sold on the Internet. One is Lord Desslar's wine and the other one is Cosmo Zero helmet.
Today's favorite art, he is Japanese. Click square. You can check out more of his art there. And this is today's No.2: "Otaku's Christmas" . orz..
I read an article saying that the Japanese rock group ULFULS's "ANMARI KOUTA" (a so-so song) ranks in #6 in the US ITunes chart. I don't listen to their songs very much, but I know they became famous with this song BANZAI.
In Japanese "Pochari" means plump. In Akiba there is "a plump maid cafe" and it is doing very well.
As far as that ranking in the US itunes chart,I seriously have doubts about that article? NOBODY knows who these guys are! let alone downloading their song..I have to say if thats correct it was some kind of marketing ploy by the record company.

"Uchuu Senkan Yamato" was shown in the U.S. back in 1974 as "Starblazers." This was the first anime I ever saw, and I was immediately captivated by it (despite being a middle school student). Our local station showed it early in the morning on weekdays, and I would watch while waiting for the school bus. Usually I missed the end of every episode because I had to catch the bus.
My re-introduction to anime didn't occur until the early 1990s, when I saw shows like "Ranma 1/2" and "Tenchi Muyo." I particularly like Tenchi Muyo, but there wasn't enough anime of comparable quality to keep me interested. Finally, around 2000, Japanese shows became more available in the U.S., and I've been watching this stuff ever since.
