We had snow in Tokyo this morning, but it turned into rain now. Since this winter is warm, I think it was the last snow we could see this winter. Unfortunately I have to go out to Akihabara on buisiness tonight. I wish I could enjoy walking in snow.
I picked the interesting U.S bill's legend in this post. I read a book about bill origami having good sales, here is the site of the book.
Nobuo Takahashi is a Japanese CG artist, I found these two movies on YouTube: Musashino Plateau and Japan. Both videos seem to show the developing of Japan after WW2. But in the Japan video, it stopped suddenly, meaning the bubble, they said.
Hi Iris
Happy new year, and Matt you have nice blog too. I love Hiroshima okonomiyaki :-)

Yeah, it snowed here in Hiroshima too. Pretty unusual. Didn't stick though, so no snowball fights. Very, very sad.

Hi Mari, I just wanted to wish you a very, very late Happy New Year!! I had not been online too much because of work, but I am happy to read your website again because I missed your interesting diary. I hope to continue reading and missed your stories and news. Best wishes
