Wow! Cute Fleted goat, I want to try to make it, very nice!!
Active rise is a small manufacturer that has released a round PC mouse wood type Piter, metal type Escher, decolated model Deco, Japanese fortune doll Daruma and Maneki Neko, you can make your original round mouse with their DIY kit too. Hmm funny.
I found a new robot. Japanese self-sufficiency food ratio is now less than 40%. Actually, older people sustain Japanese agriculture, so I am not sure it will be up in the future in this crisis situation. Tokyo University of agriculture developed a corp work support robot. The 8 motors move and provide power, helping to carry its own weight, and reducing it to around 10 kg or so. In a demonstration, a college student lifted 20kg of rice, but said he hardly felt the weight. Wow great, this might be another job like construction or nursing care. Japan has to think of a future with fewer children and less population. That type of development will be useful.
Mari,
Japan is looking at exoskeletons for agricultural needs, while America is looking at them as a means to increase our military might. Interesting!
Here's a review of an early military prototype:
