Do you know Denny's in Japan are run by 7-Eleven. Of course Denny's in Japan has a compeletely different menu and prices from the U.S.  Today I read this news "UPDATE 3-Profit drops at Japan's Seven & I, sees recovery", aa lot of Denny's will be closed. I don't know about Denny's in the U.S. But I agree. Yes, I guess, they can't match consumer choice now. The price is high, the selection on the menu is not so great. And some places are really getting old, etc. I won't choose Denny's basically.

Denny's was always about fatty, greasy food for low prices in the U.S. It has healthier food in Japan, but it's overpriced. I can get better Japanese food at small places in my neighborhood for cheaper. I'll take Royal Host or Jonathan's

Ah, too bad. I always liked Denny's Japan (not Denny's U.S. though).

I notice all the family restaurants are adding lots of beef: steaks, hamburger steak. I guess that's the sign that Japanese will all get fat.

Also, Skylark and other restaurant operators are starting up buffet restaurants. Another sign of the apocalypse
