The Hula-Hoop is sold well in online shops in Japan. There was a long story about this, last night. Last year, "a losing weights competition" was aired on TV. Some female comedians tried to lose weight in different ways. Some chose a Banana diet, some choose a recording diet (you just record what you ate, that is all) and Kuwabata choose a Latin exercise video "Core Rhythm". And she made the biggest result, if you can believe it she lost about 20cm on her waist in only 45days!

You can see it on this site. People were so impressed and Core Rhythm seemed to be a big boom like Billy's Boot Camp, but it wasn't. Because we realized the exercise is very hard and difficult to do it without dancing experience. Then people chose the Hula-Hoop now cause you can do it at your speed and without any difficult way of moving. The important part is moving and rounding waist. Actually I tried Core Rhythm and I was so disappointed to see me in the mirror (miserable! I can't move like that) so I want a Hula-Hoop now!

RPG at work

I found an article today. A Japanese company takes RPG-like rules into their company system seriously! The company sets experience value to each task and when an employee  achieves it,  he can get experience points. When he repeats it, he can level up and those points are set by costs and average time to make it. Of course when he finishes quickly his points are high, when he makes it slow, his points have to be lower. His experience points are reflected in his salary and it is important for the "game". When he makes certain points a fanfare sounds all over the office and he gets a new tool. It can be a name card, or he can order something he wants from Amazon or various prizes. Every system is controlled by the business RPG system.

Since Japanese highways are not free, when people enter the highway once, usually they don't leave until they get to their destination. Shusaku Endo was Christian and his theme was Christianity and Japan, Japanese. I recommend White Man Yellow Man, Deep River. He wrote such heavy themes often though he was funny and a cheerful guy on media. He created a theater group and had some comedies. He made a small house called "Kolian = Fox Tanuki house" in an area where I am living. My area still preserves such beautiful nature now. :-)

I have't picked a unique cafe for long time. Actually a strange fetish unique cafe is not so rare and it won't be an interesting topic anymore. But this is funny "men in suit & spectacles cafe". The setup of the cafe is a company. Guys have a role to play (even customers must choose one): co-worker, old boy, junior fellow and client. The staff acts those roles and serves things to customers. I read this cafe is popular for girls, however guys wear suits in most Japanese companies and we can see them at work enough. Why do they want to go in private? I can't understand well.

A new Japanese product is hot in foreign message boards. "What an innovative Bra design!" . Ha ha ha, it's funny.

Talking about sweet, my favorite site Cake Wrecks seems to sell "I Want Sprinkles" T-shirts, it would come from this post. As a recent post, I like this "The problem with phone orders". It's a really funny story :)

As a Japanese food topic, manga meat will be on sale again on Feb 9th (it's a meat day! 2-9 =ni-ku = meat in Japanese). Manga meat is this type of meat with bone. (wiki has the topic!) It appreared in the manga "First Human Giatrus" first and mammoth meat was a heartthrob for kids. (Cause they eat mammoth meat with gusto!) Such trauma will work for this topic too I guess. And we have manga meat items like this paper holder, cushion and phone strap etc., etc. This guy reported it last year. It looks good, I can make it with sliced beef and a chicken bone. I will try, but it will be delicious since we dreamed about it for a long time.

I picked before that a guy on Nifty PortalZ liked tetrapods and he made models. It was really cute and I almost had tetra moe too :-). Now those tetras are made into a stuffed tetra one and are on sale on the internet. Here are more photos! Oh cute! I want a few.

Kanagawa police use a Mii to make a photo of a wanted person. I think it's a good idea because a Mii can catch the character of a face very simply.
