The new Silent Hill Homecoming game
has stopped its sales in Japan.
Konami didn't release any details; they just said that this game isn’t suitable
to the Japanese market. I guess they judged that it is too violent or freaky. Maybe
I can see the trailer on the US site, but I can't... it’s too scary.
I picked this topic before: "Japanese
couple charged nearly 700 Euros for a seafood lunch become an unwitting symbol
of tourist rip-offs in the Italian capital." But the Japanese couple
turned down an offer from the Italian government. Now, three Japanese guys were charged over 7,000 Euros at a club in
Italy and the Italian government is doing a lot to help them. I guess the Italian
government must act quickly in such cases because Japanese people love
brand-name products and pay a lot of money to buy Italian brands.
PlayStation Eye Research Paves the Way for Auto-Generated
Avatars, Augmented-Reality Porn. Wow, it's a great technique. We may get to
play online games with our own faces soon.
A reasonably-priced kaiten-sushi chain KURA opened up a
shop in California.
They will have some special types of sushi aimed at the America market that they won’t offer in Japan, but now
we can eat those American sushi rolls for a limited time only. They are offering
eel California rolls, Philadelphia rolls with salmon and cream
cheese, and Rainbow rolls (salmon, tuna and shrimp with avocado). Do these
sound good to Americans? I prefer the original rolls. :-)
