What is this? Something in the sky in Portugal.
I was waiting for this! "Airline to launch 'lie-flat' seating in economy class."
Simple but interesting data: Japanese favorite fruit ranking. This ranking is gleaned from a questionnaire.
1. Strawberry: In Japan, food manufacturers and restaurants hold strawberry fairs and make strawberry confections. I like to eat strawberries plain. Recently, there's been a boom in big strawberries, called momo ichigo (peach strawberries).
2. Satsuma: I was shocked to learn that small Japanese oranges are called Satsumas! Satsuma is the old name of the Kagoshima area and we usually use the word "Satsuma" for sweet potatoes. They're small but have soft skins and their insides are sweet and juicy, I like them.
3. Peach: Personally, I don't like peaches because my hands get messy when eating them. But I love Fujiya nectar, a peach drink, it's so delicious!
4. Pear: From Wiki, I learned that the type of pear I usually eat is called Pyrus pyrifolia. In Japan, this type is called a Western pear.
5. Apple: I like apples the most, my favorite kind is Fuji.
6. Grapes: I like grapes, but I like sea grapes too! Sea grapes are called Caulerpa lentillifera and maybe only Japanese people eat them.
7. Melon: Melons are expensive, so we have this image of melons as gifts for when we visit patients in the hospital.
8. Watermelon: I don't eat watermelon so much because it makes the table so messy.
9. Banana: I like bananas. Bananas are the cheapest fruits in Japan and also they fill you up nicely.
10. Cherry: My American friends are disappointed to learn how expensive cherries are in Japan. Sato nishiki is a well known brand of cherries in Japan; one package costs about $100.

They’re NOT cookies, declared the Preschooler. The Toddler spit out his mouthful in solidarity. Excellent. More for me. And if your husband should happen to hate raisins, well then, even better.

These always looked like they were meant to be gifts for someone else, so I never bought any for myself. Perhaps such large grapes aren't very flavorful, though?

Why does everyone hate Marcel so much? He's the nicest person on that show. The only bit of personality the other men on the show (and obviously this stupid girl and her bottle -- was it that horror Betty? The 50 year old woman who has nothing better to do than make chunky soups and whine and moan about a guy half her age?) have displayed is their ability to hate, be cruel and gang up on someone who doesnt deserve it. They're the bullies everyone knows have no self esteem themselves and just look to hurting others to enhance themselves. Marcel's handled all of this really well, as seen on the show, and in my opinion, is the best person on there.

And here comes ZFS. ZFS can very nicely be used for such needs, because we operate on raw disks only when we operate on pools. When we operate on file systems, we don’t have access to raw disks anymore.
