Maid cafe in Akiba "schatz_kiste" had a zombie event "Maid Of The Dead : RETURN" in last week. Zombie maids served special menu like "blood and fresh finger" "brain and eyeball" etc,.
UK magazine Empire released "The 100 Best Films Of World Cinema : The greatest films not in the English language". No.1 is Seven Samurai. There are 12 Japanese movies rank in 100 and four of them are Kurosawa's movies "Rashomon", Ikiru, Ran. Ozu's "Tokyo Story" ranks in ! the 16 and Godzilla is the 31.. As animation "Spirited Away", "My Neighbor Totoro", "Akira" are picked. I didn't know "ring" and "battle royal" receive such high recognition and I think "Ghost in the shell" is too lo w. Anyway how many movies did you watch? I think 1/4...
Thank you for sharing. Very happy to see your article, I very much to like and agree with your point of view. Have a good time.

It's a shame that very little empirical evidence is known on this question. I've been working on some experiments, but need to finish up those working papers with the results.

The meeting has admitted his mistake, I am most willing to hold, and I think such a spirit of truth and the rational return than most, with the correct judgment will glory.Do you think so?

"Ringu"'s popularity should be no surprise to film fans. It is the movie that is most often considered to have revived the popularity of horror films in modern times. The American movies had slowly started to slide into self-parody. Franchises like Friday the 13th and Halloween were losing momentum, and Nightmare on Elm Street was becoming more comedic.
"Ringu" suddenly brought a fresh sense of existential horror back into the genre. A sense of truly hateful supernatural forces at work against humans was a shock to the Western film world especially.
On the other hand, "Battle Royale" shook up the genre of nihilistic movies about disaffected youth by applying a large dose of style and flair, against the prevailing aesthetic of hard-bitten realistic films such as "Kids" or "La Haine" (Hate).

yuck.. zombies!! XD nice, pan's labyrinth and city of gods in top 10. I don't know why I think rashomon is better than seven samurai (for kurosawa movie that is) and nausica of the valley of the wind is somewhat better than spirited away (for miyazawa movies) .. castle in the sky's awesome too..
