I will pick two Japanese artists for today's post. Noriyuki Dehara is figurine creator, he makes his figurines with clay. Kimokawaii...
Another one is Kenji Murabayashi. His works are carved wooden figurines, cute!!
Since July 21th, the Shibuya tourist information center was opened in front of Shibuya station near the Hachiko statue. You can ask them anything about Shibuya. They have visitors from over 50 countries.
My American friend says "hell no" to Omu rice, he says that ketchup on rice is difficult to try. You think so? Omu rice is great, especially with a half-cooked omelette like in the movie Tanpopo.
I am a rice huge fan, but haven't tried Omu rice.
Gonna try to find in store and make at home.

Tanpopo, now there's a blast from the past. I still recall the egg swapping scene all these years later.
IIRC, the director of that film was murdered by the Yakuza.

I'm Canadian and I love Omu rice! Can't buy it here but my wife makes it from time to time.

OmuRice rules! Especially with curry and hamburg. But I only know one place in the New York area that makes it and its okay, but nothing great. Unlike in Japan where it is always superb.
